Dear shoeplex residents,
Let me start by saying that I am not upset at the mini rebellion from the right hand side of the shoeplex. In fact, I applaud your initiative, and appreciate the lesson that has been taught to me. I have decided to look deep inside myself and vow from this moment in time, I will no longer be so shallow. I now don’t care if you’re ugly. I will still wear you with pride, when I do wear you. I will draw up a rotating roster for all shoes to have their time in the glass side of the shoeplex…. Oh who are we kidding? I’m not going to do that. You’re ugly. Get over it. You had your moment in the spotlight, now shut the hell up. (God. I just sounded like my 9th grade drama teacher! The memories! For the love of Humanity, won’t somebody stop the memories!)
I know I had the grand idea before I left that I would update the blog on a regular basis while away from home, but seriously? I’m on bloody holidays! Im not even going to try!
So… I’ll be flying home on the 28th. You probably won’t hear from me until at least then.
I can’t wait to show you all the new adoptions I’m bringing back with me! Some of you in the glass side will have to make room for them, but it’s all for the greater good… Of making me look better.
I think this is the part where I say I miss you all, but let’s be honest.

15 AugWell, this is our last rebellious post.
We have received a cease and desist order from the neighbours in the fancy side of the shoeplex. Snobs.
We’ll end it now by showing you one of our ugliest residents. They used to be in the fancy side, but as you can see, they have had a very hard life.
Just goes to show, you dedicate yourself to a life of foot servitude, and when you’re used up, beaten and battered, you’re sent off to the dark side of the shoeplex.
It’s a terrible thing….
Oh yes, Mike is due back in a week or so. We can’t wait to meet the new residents he’ll be bringing back!
